Garden centers and plant nurseries sell annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, vegetables and houseplants, along with soil, mulch, fertilizer, pots and tools. Independent nurseries often grow part of their own stock and carry varieties that do well in the local climate, while big-box garden departments compete on price for common plants. Wholesale nurseries and growers sell to landscapers and sometimes to the public at volume prices; tree nurseries sell balled-and-burlapped and container trees and can deliver and plant large specimens. Specialty growers focus on bonsai, cactus and succulents, orchids or native plants, and hydroponics stores sell lights, nutrients and systems for growing indoors.

Miami is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Miami peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I'd say you mostly come here for the aesthetics of the joint and ambience, both inside and outside. They have a small, limited menu. I think is more a space to grab a matcha drink and read a book outside or just to talk and hang out with friends. But it is a very unique and stunning space.

My favorite coffee shop in Miami! Love the cacao nib drink. Staff is also so friendly! And you can buy the art pieces and they ship if you’re a visitor!

Popped in here out of curiosity, and it was such a pleasant surprise—combining both plants, moss art, and matcha! The place is fascinating and wonderful to walk through, while I love it that there is a tranquil cafe inside. I've seen one of their moss installations in a condo in Boca, and I love that it happened to come from here. I will definitely be back!

Plant The Future Café is, without a doubt, one of the most aesthetic coffee shops I’ve been to. It’s nestled within a nursery, although calling it just a nursery doesn’t really do it justice. It feels more like an artsy botanical space where plants become part of the experience. The entire place is visually beautiful, peaceful, and gives off relaxed, beachy vibes. It’s the kind of spot where you can unplug for a bit or just enjoy the atmosphere. I wouldn’t call myself a coffee connoisseur, but I do think I know my way around coffee and tend to have fairly high standards. I ordered a flat white and would rate it 3/5. For my taste, it was lacking a bit of strength and acidity to round out and elevate the rest of the flavor notes. That said, I’d definitely come back, the place itself makes it worth it. Next time I’ll probably try an iced Americano and see how that compares. Pro tip: Even if coffee isn’t your main reason for coming, the setting alone makes the visit worthwhile.

A hidden little paradise in Miami. A dreamy garden with the cutest café tucked inside, surrounded by the most beautiful floral arrangements and fresh flowers for sale. Truly one of those places that makes you forget you’re in the middle of the city. Easily in my top 3 favorite spots in Miami . Highly recommend.
